TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Head Sudaryono has confirmed circulating social media reports regarding plans to relocate the agency's headquarters to Telkom's Graha Merah Putih building on Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta.
BGN is currently coordinating the move with the Investment Management Agency of Danantara (BPI Danantara), which oversees Telkom's corporate assets.
"We are currently coordinating with Danantara, and in the near future, the National Nutrition Body will occupy Graha Merah Putih, which is currently Telkom's office," Sudaryono said during a working meeting with Commission IX of the House of Representatives (DPR) in Jakarta on Thursday, September 3, 2026.
According to the Gerindra Party politician, BGN has formally requested the office relocation, which is currently being processed by Danantara. He estimated that the transition to Graha Merah Putih would be completed within the next one to two months.
Meanwhile, Sudaryono assured that Telkom employees will be relocated to a facility situated behind Graha Merah Putih. "The current occupants of Graha Merah Putih will relocate to the Telkom building behind it, which is taller," the former Deputy Minister of Agriculture said.
News regarding BGN's plan to take over Telkom's office space has drawn widespread discussion across social media. DPR Commission IX Deputy Chairperson Muhammad Yahya Zaini urged BGN to clarify the circulating issue during a meeting on the agency's 2027 work plan and budget.
"People said [on social media] that the Telkom building on Gatot Subroto could be used for BGN's office? I do not know if that is true or not. This is what has been circulating on social media. Please clarify," the Golkar Party politician said.
Yahya also questioned the status of BGN's current office at Jalan Kebon Sirih No. 1 in Menteng, Central Jakarta. Noting that BGN continues to rent the property, Yahya sought to ensure whether existing government or state-owned enterprise offices could be utilized instead.
