TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pop star Miley Cyrus announced two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16 and 18. These will be her first performances at the iconic venue. The concerts, titled “Miley: Bass Persuades — Live at the Hollywood Bowl,” celebrate the release of her 10th studio album, “Bass Persuades,” set to drop on September 18.
“This album is a love story, but love stories are never one-dimensional. They're always layered,” she said about “Bass Persuades” to Wonderland magazine, as quoted by Timeout. “There is definitely a romantic thread weaving through it because, like all my records, it's a reflection of where I am in my life. But this one feels especially meaningful because this feeling has stayed with me through multiple eras.”
According to Cleveland.com, Miley announced her upcoming album “Bass Persuades” on September 1 through Atlantic Records. This project marks her first album since “Something Beautiful” in 2025 and her debut with Atlantic Records. The album explores themes of love, heartbreak and personal growth.
The singer also dropped “Cyrus” from her social media branding and official promotional materials, rebranding herself simply as Miley. The rebrand has become a major part of the rollout for the new album and upcoming shows. However, she has not detailed whether the name change is permanent.
Her last major live performance took place in 2025, making these shows a significant return to the stage for the singer. The Hollywood Bowl dates are especially notable as Miley has largely stepped away from touring in recent years.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 10. Several pre-sales will take place before that date: an American Express pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, and Miley's artist pre-sale starts at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9.
