TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - US President Donald Trump warned of possible attacks on power plants and bridges in Iran on Tuesday tomorrow, amid the ongoing war between the US and Israel against Iran.
In his statement, Trump added that Tehran must open the Strait of Hormuz or it will suffer.
"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!" Trump said Sunday on his Truth Social platform, as quoted by Anadolu, referring to his threat to target Iranian infrastructure.
Trump said Iran must open the Strait of Hormuz or it will suffer.
Regional tensions have escalated since the US and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran on February 28, killing more than 1,340 people to date, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Tehran retaliated with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states hosting US military assets.
Iran also restricted the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
